Jeevanamritham is a unique blend of various Ayurvedic herbs particularly beneficial in treating cold and respiratory allergies. Jeevanamritham ensures the good health of the lungs, and the healthy functioning of the respiratory as well as GI (Gastro Intestinal) tract.
According to Ayurveda, respiratory tract infections like common cold, sinusitis, bronchitis and asthma occur as a result of the vitiation of kapha dosha. The cause of respiratory tract ill health is related to the stomach and small intestine. When ingested food is not properly digested due to disturbances in the metabolic process, the undigested substances aama (toxins) contributes to the increase in the phlegm (mucus as well as thickened fluids). And the vitiated kapha in turn affects the immunity of the body.
